Engine Roster
As of 8/03 I am using Easy DCC from CVP Products ( http://www.cvpusa.com ) for the prime mover of the railroad. I made the change this summer from Railcommand (also CVP) primarily for sound purposes. The decoders , other than Soundtrxx, are all T 1’s from Train Control Systems ( http://www.tcsdcc.com ). Al from CVP, and John & Gwen from TCS are all great to work with and are very helpful. The entire combination has also made the operation of engines better. Smoother and quitter. With Railcommand and Easy DCC the handsets were more acceptable to me than others on the market. CVP uses coax cable to go from plug to another so it didn’t take much thought to decide that I didn’t want to have to tear it out and put some other form of wiring in. Yes, there are, hidden in corners and under the benchwork some steam items. They only come out on full moons and the 13th of the month, except when they fall on Thursdays because Thursdays are train nights.
